We (dead prez) were out in Naples, Italy earlier this year and I got a chance to do this with the help of the director Giusi Vittorini. It literally happened like this…”Aye, I wanna shoot a video out here on my off day tomorrow…anybody interested please meet me on the side of the stage after our show…” (the rest is history).

I love Naples (or Napoli). A truly beautiful city with a heavy Anarchist / Revolutionary spirit. They make and break the rules everyday. I love it! Shouts out to Luigi behind the camera as well. Thank you brother.

Greetings All,

A few weeks ago I was having a lyrical Westside ChiCity moment in my mind as I was watching a promo for my favorite emcees North of Madison…and THAT would be Project Mayhem. Their music has always struck me as fly, lyrical, fun and street all at the same time. I love it. We’ve both worked with some of the same producers over the years, but never have we got together and just penned one for rap sake. Need I say, it was fun. I need more fun nowadays…So, I called Marco Dane and he informed me that the group was just leaving SXSW in Austin and were headed to Atlanta. We both agreed, perfect. Mayhem finally reached Atl after their long drive, settled in to work with their bandmate “Tree”, then Paypa, Ish, and Marco Dane (Lennon had to skate back to Chi before we linked) came thru to listen through files and files of beats. We picked this one to rock for now and saved some others for later. Stay Tuned…
